Trey and I went to the ribbon-cutting ceremony (sans the ribbon) of the Tampa museum of art on this very lovely Saturday morning!
He took me to breakfast beforehand, which was very delicious because I had crepes, which never disappoint! B-fast is my fav meal of the day, unless you count tea time.
Walking over to the museum it was cold and windy, so much that Trey commented we might as well be in Chicago! I am not at all complaining, however, I actually love the weather! As long as I am wrapped up and warm I am happy.
Architect Stanley Saitowitz commented to say a museum was just a box. Like a treasure box or jewelry box and its sole importance was in holding what was inside. It was a thoughtful speech, but Trey and I giggled about it later anyway.

While at the museum we saw some of the Tampa elite. Which reminds me, last night I informed my boyfriend he had to become famous if he wished to continue dating me; I will even sacrifice our time together for the time being so that he can spend more time on finding fame.
Joking, of course…
While we were waiting for the speeches to begin he was busy using the tiny camera of which I have a matching! His man hands make it look even smaller than the ant that it already is. Instead I stole his much larger (and nicer!) digital camera for the moment. We did not have time to go inside the museum (haha, what was the point then, right??) because I had work at noon and the speakers had a lot to fill us out on (one elevator inside the museum is lime green, whereas the other is neon orange!). We made plans to go back tomorrow at noon (I just realized, how ironic we should continue at noon) followed by a study session at the downtown library.

Speaking of cameras, I might consider buying this one!

I love it for the fact it has a wide angle lens the most; but of course the fact that the colors are so bright, fun and the result unexpected makes it all the more luring. And for a mere $25, I would have to say it is very worth it! Of course then there is the film and developing it… but memories are priceless ;)
